Nasty Bugs

If you find any bugs, then please report them by email to colin@colina.demon.co.uk. The game record might help. It is written to a file named like chu.GR2000.01.06.08.01.42. A saved-game file is even easier to use. Here is a list of known, or suspected bugs:

Magnification

The Magnification slider does not work with JDK/JRE 1.2.2 (or 1.1.7). This is a bug in Java itself. Sun claim to have fixed it in 1.3.

Restart

Sometimes, when restarting a game on the Internet, the player at the server end gets the other player's remaining time. I cannot reproduce this, nor can I see what might be causing it. I have attempted to fix it though, so maybe it is solved. Please let me know if you come across this in version 2.10 or later.
