From: "Bernhard C. März" arcor de> Date: 22 may 2007 Subject: R+L-Handicap with Anaguma Hi, when I play against Bonanza with (taking) R+L-Handicap, he mostly makes=20 the Anaguma castle to his left side (the side without his lance). Still I'm attacking as always at his right side. But in this situation I recognize, that I didn't take advantage of the=20 missing lance. And speaking exactly, the missing lance saves one move=20 for Bonanza. So I didn't have any advantage and R+L-Handicap probably will have the=20 same moves/result as only R-Handicap. Who is playing wrong? There are two possibilities: 1) I'm playing wrong: I should use specialy technices and take advantage= =20 of the missing lance also in this situation. OR 2) Bonanza is playing wrong and shouldn't play Anaguma in this=20 situation. Or more specialy, maybe in R+L-Handicap it's okay and in=20 R-Handicap not or vice versa, so R- and RL-Handicap should be played=20 different, but Bonanza didn't take the full effort of it.
