I never found a site on intenet with the OFFICIAL rules of Korean Chess in English. I did even not found a board in Belgium.  Is it possible that somebody send me a link to the official korean chess rules ?  Thank you very Much.

Google and Wikipedia to the rescue!
Wiki's info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janggi
Janggi rules: http://www.xmission.com/~gastown/afi/koreanch.htm
Korean chess applet: http://www.fungame.pe.kr/javagame/janggi/janggi.htm
Playing janggi on the Web requires more ambition, because the only site I know of
(which includes other games) is entirely in Korean: http://www.hangame.com

Is this the same site as http://www.thaibg.com/TSOnline/index.php ?  I tried this last week after another shogi-L subscriber pointed me there.  For the brief time that I was on the site (after I successfully registered - not a totally easy task), I had some difficulty finding an opponent.  I think there was a lot of writing in Thai and not so much in English, so I found myself confused.  How was your experience?  I'm sure I'll have better success next time. :-)
Thanks for both your replies.  I am excited about playing xiangqi, makruk, and janggi online in the near future.  If anyone figures out how to register at the hangame.com site, please let me know.  I was unable to find so much as a webmaster's email address there.  Not too fluent in Korean! (^_^)
