Today, FESA has 15 member nations: Austria Belarus Belgium Czech Republic Finland France Germany Great Britain Iceland Italy The Netherlands Norway Russia Sweden Ukraine FESA welcomes more nations as members. We just need a name of the=20 national shogi organisation and the names and e-mail addresses of two=20 FESA representatives. Our common goal is of course to spread shogi in=20 Europe. We organize the European Shogi Championship/Worldwide Open=20 Shogi Championship every year, where we also meet at the yearly FESA=20 meeting. There is strong shogi player in Bulgaria. It became=20 to=20 known during European Go Congress in Villach, Austria. On July, 22=20 Gert=20 Schnider acquainted go players with shogi and organized mini shogi=20 tournament. The 1st place took G.Schnider but the 2nd place took=20 J.Lazarov from Bulgaria.
