Subject: About Jishogi


I've read that if a Jishogi situation occurs, and if one side refuses to 
end the game, the generally accepted method is for the side that wants 
to end the game to have all of his pieces protected in the promotion 
zone.  Does this mean that he needs to drop all of his pieces in hand 
back on the board and have them protected too?
