In my case, I put them from = left to right in descending order of piece value(R>B>G>S>N>L>P). If I get lots = of pieces and cannot put them in one line, then I put them in two lines on the= =20 Komadai without reversing. Unless two lines are enough, then put them in th= ree lines. I believe it's more or less common to pro players as well. Typical examples can be found in 19th Ryuo-sen broadcasting blog at http://ryuoh.weblogs.jp/photos/uncategorized/061221_kanso_2_1.jpg=20 http://ryuoh.weblogs.jp/blog/2006/12/post_64a4.html (The third photo from t= he=20 top) Best regards Manabu Terao Jeff Rollason virgin net> wrote: >=20 > I am involved in a significant project that will be showing Shogi in rich= > 3D, and I have been posed a question about what to do with captured piece= s. > This is targeted for the Japanese market. >=20 > We show the full square block board on four feet, with the two little > captured-piece tables.
