Excellent!  Thanks again, both to you and to the author of the page
(what is his name?).  As for exactly which images and sizes I need,
this is not necessary to decide yet.  I have a lot of programming work
to do first.

OK, we'll see.  At any rate, I don't think it will be a big problem to
find someone who is willing and able to do the translation.

Yes, this is of course absolutely necessary, but from a programming
point of view it is not a problem at all.  As long as long as the
program is designed to support multiple languages, it is easy to add
new languages to the finished program.  All we need is people with the
necessary language skills.

It does not require any programming skills, but for my GUI it will
probably require a Macintosh computer.  I don't have any Windows and
Linux computers, and can't develop for these platforms.  It is my hope
that somebody else will write GUIs for Windows and Linux with support
for the protocol we agree upon.

Thanks for the new comments and links from your blog!  Unfortunately,
trying to read the pages without knowing the Japanese language is
difficult and frustrating (I use Google's web translation tool, but as
pointed out before it doesn't work well).  I wish I had the time and
talent to learn your language, but unfortunately I have neither.
