The page said the author of the page can modify the size of images on request. I think I can help you to ask him when you specify the images you would like to use for the GUI. > Finally: It will probably be necessary to translate my first draft of > the engine communication protocol to Japanese. Ah, It depends on the volume of the content and timeflame. > > Some time later, I will also need someone to translate the texts in my > GUI into Japanese. Volunteers are welcome. :-) I forgot to mention in the last message to the necessity of having the choice of Japanese/English for the GUI. At present, the majority of shogi software users are in reality Japanese. I think that the standardized GUI must support both. If the work does not need any programming skill, I think I can help you. After my last post to shogi-l, I got further comments in my blog. * The person who gave the pointer of the shogi images wrote that the project will be significant for the future of the computer shogi world. He also gave me the pointer of "lesserpyon" which has been written for the purpose of providing learning material of computer shogi based on "Usapyon". It is at http://homepage1.nifty.com/Ike/lesserpyon/ * Another person gave the pointer of Open Shogi Library which is mainly for the people who write codes of shogi program for studying purposes. It is at http://gps.tanaka.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/osl/ He mentioned to Miyamoto Joseki which is Joseki database in Kakinoki format. It can be found at http://members.ld.infoseek.co.jp/jyouseki/page002.html Best regards Manabu Terao --^---------------------------------------------------------------- This email was sent to: shogi-l shogi net EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?a2i6Ys.aBVYf3.c2hvZ2kt Or send an email to: shogi-unsubscribe topica com For Topica's complete suite of email marketing solutions visit: http://www.topica.com/?p=TEXFOOTER --^----------------------------------------------------------------
