Subject: shogi clubs in the US


Hi Shogi list!

I'm in the San Francisco bay area. Is the club that was mentioned on 
this list last February and March still meeting (at the same time and 
location)? Are beginners welcome, and how many people usually show up?

Also, what other regularly meeting clubs are there in the US? It would 
be nice to have a list maintained somewhere (maybe as a page on 
shogi.net somewhere or perhaps one of the other national associations or 
FESA would be willing to host a list of US clubs while the US Shogi 
Federation doesn't have a webpage) with meeting times and locations and 
contact info.
