From: manabu.terao mx3 ttcn ne jp Date: 17 feb 2007 Subject: RE: First draft of the Universal Shogi Interface (USI) Hello Tord and shogi-l subscribers, The person who input the comment in my blog agreed that "info" command can be used in case that mate exists in a spesific position. However, he wrote that the information in case of "No mate" should be transferred as well in consideration of the usage of tsumeshogi problem solving. He added that there did not seem to be a command for the GUI to transfer the result at the end of a game to the engine. He said it would be necessary. Furthermore, he wrote there did not seem to be a command of informing the GUI about the resignation from the engine. It should be added as well.
