Some of you may already know that there has been an interesting game for some time now on Shogi Club 24. Each month, a certain professional player plays quite a lot of games under the handle name @X (rating: 9999, it doesn't change even when they lose). The identity of Player X changes each month and is unknown until next month, when it appears in Shogi Sekai. The point of the game is, you can guess who Player X is from their "kifuu" (playing style). If you guess right, you're supposed to get a reward. But even if you don't care about the game itself, it's fun looking at all the shogi games the professionals have played. Some of them are actually famous top pros - in April, for example, Shima Akira played as Player X. My question is: Is there anyone out there who is a regular reader of Shogi Sekai and could post the identity of each month's Player X? I live outside Japan (in Hungary), and so I don't get to lay my hands on Shogi Sekai very often. It would be nice to look at the games on Shogi Club 24 knowing whose kifu they are. (I have found out some identites browsing Japanese forums online, but it's not an easy task to do.)
