Bernhard,

In 29 year programming I have done very dirty, nasty, ugly, explicit e= rrors and other
things.
But your idea is really really

LA CERISE SUR LE GATEAU !

The Roll-Royce !

My idea went the same way in making a special set of Unicode character= s,
but mixing DLL's, WHAW !!!

I once installed a UBI-soft install program on a game form another man= ufacturer,
because they used the same protection mechanism, and IT WORKED !!!

I hope the English version will not need a Japanese windows. &= nbsp;;-)

I've searched a lot in internet, but I couldn't find anythin= g about this
problem.
I can only say, that it seemed to be a general problem with= dot net.
Maybe Microsoft will tell anything when being asked from an Un= iversity.

It's really hard to solve this problem yourself.
The only (stupid) idea I can suggest is, to "mix japanese and western<= br>windows together", means at it's best way create a virtual mach= ine
(software is free available) so testing is much easier. Then test it
while replacing the DLLs in system32-Directory with the japanese one.Maybe after replacing the "correct one" it will work.
But it= 's a veeeeery dirty way, still if it even will give a positive
resul= t.

I wish you big success in solving this problem.
And keep us info= ----------------------------------------------
