Once again this was a great event to be at, and this year with its own spec= ial drama. For the first time the winner and newcomer Kunihito Hoki was not= at the event and had to be rung in Canada to break the news. The location = at Kazusa Akademia Center (Kazusa Arc) in Kisarazu is a long trek to reach,= but again a great venue for such a competition. This is the last time I can just tinker and re-enter with Shotest 8, which = started in 1997 and basically pretty well unchanged in the last 4 years. Bo= nanza sets a new high water mark to reach.
