I would like also some feedback about the promoted piece=
s: is the red=20
colour suitable? Are the symbol used good? (especially for the Rook and=20
the Bishop, rather difficult to recognize)

It's a good question. To tell the truth, I did not =
tell promoted Rook and
promoted Bishop in the diagram generator. Please refer to the page which=
=20
have a picture of shogi pieces with one character on it at
http://www.shogi-koma.jp/shohin-ichiran/shosai/0=
09-5.html

I think promoted Bishop may needs replacement.
This is a good website, thank you for the link, I'll replace both the RyuuOu and the RyuuUma by the Ryuu and Uma kanji with the same writing as the unpromoted pieces.

I submitted a german translation for your generator. Great=
 works ! I am
excited.

Thanks! The page is now available in german too, I added a SELECT to switch from one language to another, but it selects automatically the language of your browser when visiting the page for the first time.

About the pieces' colour:

Personally, I prefer red promoted pieces because there are many beginners o=
n
shogi web pages.
But, what about a button: promoted pieces (black/red) ?
Maybe an idea for later versions...

The rook and the bishop are difficult, yes. But very nice. How did you get
the kanji ?
It's a good idea to be able to switch the red colour, I'll add the graphics in black as soon as I have replaced the Rook and the Bishop images. The kanji I used are those on the standard plastic shogi sets with the grey vinyl board from the Nihon Shougi Renmei, I placed all my pieces on the scanner and extracted the graphics directly from them. They are all visible on this page : http://www.shogi.fr/regles/les-pieces/
(I'll reply to you directly for the paypal account ;-))

I make a link on the website of the Nederlandse Shogi Bond (Dutch Shogi Association) www.shogi-bond.nl.
I submitted a Dutch translation.
As response on your question about the color of promoted pieces: I like black promoted pieces best.
I have also a question about the function of the "Export as URL". How can I use it?
Thanks for the link, I'll update the link on Shogi France to NL Shogi Bond since I still had the old url.
Thank you for the dutch translation, the tool is now available in Nederlands too ^_^
The Export as URL option can be used as follow :
If you want to show someone a diagram without saving the picture to post it on a board, or to send it by email, you can send the link and the diagram will show in the browser. It can also be used to save a diagram you generated and be able to modify it later on to generate a new picture.
