SEGAWA became professional shogi player. There was a big wall between amateur and professional shogi players. But, = a man named SEGAWA Shoji broke it. He submitted the petition to Japan Shogi Association and the association held the examination. Fortunately, he passe= d the examination and became professional shogi player. 2. MORIUCHI has 2 titles MORIUCHI toshiyuki Meijin got KIO title from HABU. So, the status of 7 titles is below(as of March 2006). HABU yoshiharu has OHZA, OHSHO, and OHI title. MORIUCHI toshiyuki has MEIJIN and KIOH title. WATANABE akira has RYUOH title. SATO yasumitsu has KISEI title. 3. MORI come back to B1 class although he is 59 years old. It is very surprising. Who thinks of this result on April 2005? Major shogi professional players(e.g. HABU, MORIUCHI, SATO) are under 40 ag= e except TANIGAWA koji. So, I thought 30's age or 40's age shogi players are= promoted to B1 class. But MORI keiji, who had 2 titles, come back to B1 class with unbelievable luck. That's all. I would like write about female shogi players and computer shogi if I have time. See you. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The same article is posted to my blog named "doubleplusunsafe" http://blog.livedoor.jp/w1allen/archives/50097677.html -------------------------------------- Celebrate Yahoo!
