Since, in our association, we try to do some special events during this period, for instance by playing during a whole afternoon dressed with kimonos etc... Another way to promote Shogi :-) Nevertheless, I ask me if this celebration is a reality in Japan as I've never found anything about it. The only thing I found is the "Ningen Shogi", but which takes place in.. Spring! :-) May anybody in this list tell me if this celebration is a reality, and moreover what kind of events are organised in Japan?
