I have just uploaded the new version of my shogi program SPEAR. Although=
=20
tests indicated that the new version is not much stronger than the=20
previous release, the results in the World Computer Shogi Championships=20
showed that the new version is a little bit harder to beat. Five wins in=
=20
the second preliminary round was the best result since 2001! Give the=20
new version a try and let me know what you think:
