The clock has nothing to do in this fact 3) If the player has forgotten to press the clock, you can tell him or not,= but not pressing the clock doesn't allow him to take back a piece that he has already put and left in a square. 4) You're also right: when someone is in check, there's nothing to say. We are not in a Chess but in a Shogi game. If the player doesn't take care of his King, his King can die.
