The well known book "Shogi for Beginners" by John Fairbairn has a
collection of tsumeshogi problems (in chess terms, checkmate problems
where each move must be a check) as well as hisshi problems
("brinkmate" problems, where the solution begins with a non-checking
move and is followed by a checking move or sequence leading to mate).
