Subject: the chess variant pages

I was google-ing earlier today, and I noticed that
www.chessvariants.org is offline now. I haven't visited it in a few
months, but the site is a valuable resource. It initially lead me to
Shogi. Do any of you know what happend to the site, or why it is gone?
