I agree with Fabien.=20

Please think of little giveaways or 2-page-pamphlets explaining shogi
rules. Almost noone can remember all the rules after the fair. Or at
least prepare some visiting cards with a website on it.

Do you know "General Shogi", a variant of shogi for beginners?

Its on a smaller board (5x6 instead of 9x9) with less pieces.
You may even play handicap games with good winning chances for
beginners.
