Dear Pieter,

Hope things are going well.

I just wanted to contact you and let you know that the tournament will
finally start on Saturday, July 17th. And the registration process will
end on Sunday, July 11th.

We have a few teams express their interest and have decided to
participate in the event so far. We even have a team which will be
using a commercially available shogi softwares, along with their own
program in the tournament to compete.

I was hoping that if I may be so bold and demanding and kindly ask you
to send out a reminder to the list members that the deadline is fast
approaching and that we still have room for more participants.
Obviously, we would like to see as many participants from different
countries as possible as it would make it more competitive and
exciting.

Anyway, thanks again, in advance for your generous and timely
assistance.
