Now 18 players from 5 different countries challenged for the silver cup. The Nijmegen tournament is one of the most friendly tournaments in Europe were all players spend the night together having dinner and beers in this pleasant student town. Kajihara san is a Japanese player who is new to the European scene. He impressed us by winning the tournament with a perfect score. Some opponents had changes but apparently not the nerves to make it through the buyomi fights (I blew a winning position by allowing entering king).
