Munich Shogi Open April 2nd-4th 2004

Dear Shogi players,

do you know a good trick to get special attention for you shogi tournament? Here is one: Just send the wrong information first, so that you can correct and resend the whole stuff some days later....
The correct date for the Shogi-Tournament in Munich/Pullach 2004 is: the 2nd of April till the 4th of April 2004!!

Format: 6 rounds Olufsen-Pairing-System, 50 min + 40 sec byoyomi
              The Format is subject to change!

Entry fee: 10,- EURO (8,- Euro for members of any FESA member organisation)

Schedule: April 2nd - 4th 2004

Friday 18:00 h dinner (if you are already there)
     19:30 h Blitz-tournament
Saturday 9:40-9:45 h registration
   9:50 h 1. round
only a short lunch break
Sunday     7:00-8:45 breakfast
9:00 h 5. round
15:00 h prize giving

How to get there: by car: south of Munich on the B11
by train: from Munich with the S 7 (tram) to Pullach then 10 Minutes by foot

Accomodation: Youth Hostel Burg Schwaneck in Pullach just out of Munich
rooms for 4-8 people 27,- EURO per night (including breakfast on Saturday/Sunday, a warm dinner on Friday and Saturday, lunch package for Saturday and Sunday)

It will be possible to take the meals only, if you choose to stay somewhere else (price is about 6,5 EURO per warm meal), but please inform me about that some days in advance!!
