I would like to remind all of you who are playing on the shogi email ladder of the time limit that is to be applied. for each match it stands that 10 moves have to be made in 30 days. Failure to meet this time limit may result in loosing the game, as your opponent may claim victory. Of course this rule can be suspended if one of the opponents beforehand informs the other that he will be away for some time (vacation, business trip, etc.) This rule is used to prevent games from dragging on for ever, and to speed up the games, and as a result movement up and down the ladder. I have been informed that the PBeM server, which is used by several players, only forces you to make a move within 19 days. Please be aware of this difference.
