Hello shogi-l subscribers,

This is just to let you know that the shogi-l server (colina.demon.co.uk)
does not seem to be responding anymore since the weekend. The owner of the
machine is away on vacation for another two weeks, so I have decided to
migrate shogi-l to topica. I apologize for the inconvenience, but there is
little I can do.

Topica does not allow me to just move the subscribers list as they are very
serious about making sure that people indeed want to subscribe. So, what
will happen is that sometime today you will get an invitation from topica to
join the Shogi Discussion List. If you wish to remain a subscriber, you need
to respond to that mail, either by clicking the appropriate link in their
mail or by just responding to their mail. I would recommend that you accept
the invitation soon otherwise you may miss mails from Shogi Discussion List.

In order to safeguard your privacy, e-mail addresses cannot be downloaded by
anybody. Only the list owner can see who subscribes.

One thing will be different: the name of the list will be shogi <at> topica <dot> com
(i.e., not shogi-l anymore). You will receive other relevant information in
both the invitation to join and in the e-mail message that confirms your
subscription.
