It's a short report about 1st Open shogi championship of Russia witch took place in Saint-Petersburg in November, 15-16. Russians participants from 4th cityes was there only. Sergey Belov stand the Champion of Russia. Yury Shpilev and Victor Zapara took 5 points too, but they had lowest Buchgolc rating (only on half-point low). Daniil Kulin from Saint-Petersburg played very well and took 4th place. Silver women Alla Novikova could to go to the 2nd Russian championship in next year.
