Dear Mr. Martin Danerud and Shogi fans,

If more than two players tie in the “A “ league, “paramasu system” is
adopted. The lowest players have a match first (this time, Habu and Fujii)
then winner of this match plays with Sato.

As for the 1st round of the play-off game played by Habu- Fujii, Habu won in
80 moves. After “Sennichite” game, Habu surprisingly chose “Ai-Furibisha
(Double Ranging Rook)” strategy.

Play-off match between Habu and Sato will be held on March 26th at the
“Nihon-Shogi-Renmei” (Japan shogi association) in Tokyo and there will be an
explanation event.

Thinking time will be 6 hours for each player.

Unlike the “Banshobu”(the best of games match), we may not be able to follow
the game on the Internet.
