Subject: Mr. Naruyuki Hatakeyama, Pro 7 Dan, to visit New York

Dear Shogi-L Members,

The New York Shogi Club will host a private visit by Mr. Naruyuki Hatakeyama, Pro 7 Dan, from June 27 - July 6. We are currently planning a variety of shogi and social activities for his visit, including our annual NY Shogi Club outing to the Pocono Mountains where we rent a large house in this resort area for a weekend of shogi and outdoor activities.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, July 1-2, Mr. Hatakeyama will attend shogi meetings at Oikawa Restaurant, located at the SE corner of 50th Street and 3rd Avenue in Manhattan (second floor), NY. Meeting time is from 6:30PM to 11:00PM. All players, guests and visitors are welcome. There's no playing fee for those who rarely come. FYI, the NY Shogi Club meets every Wednesday at this time and place.
