There are holidays at Russia now). Participants of this Tournament : The Champion of Ukraine - Artem Kolomiets , Champion of Russia - Sergey Belov (both participants of October Shogi Festival in Japan last year), Champion Belorussia Sergey Korchitsky and Youth Champion of Russia Victor Zapara have played round-robin Tournament in Moscow. Of course, favorits were Kolomiets and Belov. Time control was 50 min each player and then bayomi 30 sec per move (really it was 5 minutes for 10 moves, because we use ordinary chess clocks. First round Belov beat Zapara, Kolomiets beat Korchitsky. Favorits confirmed their strength. Second round. Surprise ! Korchitsky beat Belov , and Zapara beat Kolomiets. So, after two rounds all four players have 1 point and each can be winner. Third Round Zapara beat Korchitsky , and having 2 points wait the result of last game were Belov and Kolomiets are playing. If Belov won he became winner, but if Kolomiets won , Zapara became winner. It were very long game above 1 hour players were playing at bayomi. And it were finished above 190 move Kolomiets beat Belov. So, Victor Zapara 2 points - 15 years old Youth Champion of Russia became winner of very interesting tournament. 2-d place Artem Kolomiets (Ukraine) - 2 points 3-d place Sergey Belov (Russia) - 1 point 4-th place Sergey Korchitsky - 1 point Best Regards Alexander Nosovsky Chairman of Russian Shogi Assosiation
