The midpoint of 4 Dan is 2160; this just confirms that you should be able to score nearly 50% against 4 Dan players in Shinjuku center or Shogi Renmei. I don't think your actual Pan-Atlantic rating would be too far below 2150, because the only players who are more than 100 points below expectation are 2 Swede(where ratings are depressed), 1 player at the bottom of the rating list, and 1 Japanese who has played more than TEN THOUSAND games on SC24, mostly after his last Pan-Atlantic event! Since none of these factors apply to you, I think you can count on being over 2050 Pan-Atlantic. I can't think of anyone I know over 1750 on SC24 who is not a 4 Dan normally (except you). > PS: Do you play a lot of Nakabisha?
