The nineteenth European Shogi Championship will be = played in=20 Sweden. This is the first time that Sweden is the host of the ESC/WOSC, = and we=20 have chosen to welcome you to one of the most beautiful places in = our=20 country, easily accessible due to its short distance to Goteborg, the = second=20 biggest city in Sweden. Still, Ockero community, consisting of ten = islands, is a=20 world of its own, where you can easily relax at the seaside between the = shogi=20 games.

Venue
The conference centre Nimbus = at Ockero=20 (http://www.ock= ero.se/turism/html/enghtml/road.htm)=20 near Goteborg, Sweden, which has youth hostel, restaurant, and playing = venue in=20 one building complex in a very beautiful environment at the seaside of = this=20 Swedish west coast island. The conference centre is built recently and = has a=20 very fresh atmosphere and a good standard.

How to go to = the=20 venue
From Landvetter Airport (GOT) to the Railway Central=20 Station/Nils Ericsson Terminalen by airport bus (30 min). From Nils = Ericsson=20 Terminalen to Lilla Varholmen by bus 240 (45 min). From Lilla Varholmen = to Hono=20 Pinan by the ferry, and then continue by bus 297 from H=F6n=F6 Pinan to = Nimbus (10=20 min). Use one ticket all the way from the airport to the playing venue = and just=20 mention your final destination!

How to register for the=20 event
Register to your national FESA organisation and pay to = it in=20 advance (if it requires you to do so).
If you are a non-European, = register=20 to sveriges_shogiforbund hotmail com and pay at the = arrival.
Registration=20 before July 10:
Participation in ESC/WOSC: 100 SEK = (approximately 11=20 Euro). Please mention at this registration whether you will=20 participate in the European Open Blitz Championship or not.
Three = nights=20 (from August 7 until August 10) at the youth hostel (booked only for the = shogi=20 players and their families; 56 beds available; four men rooms; players = will have=20 to bring their own bedlinen (pillow case and sheets or sleeping bag) and = towels): 400 SEK (approximately 43 Euro) per bed (for three = nights)
Nine=20 meals at the restaurant (dinner on Thursday, breakfast, lunch, and = dinner on=20 Friday and Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday): 600 SEK = (approximately=20 65 Euro)
