Subject: In need of a new home for SHOGI-L

Hello Shogi fans,

Ever since its birth on 6 May 1990, SHOGI-L has been hosted by
Technion completely free of charge. We have been very happy with them
and have always appreciated their generosity. However, their
management recently decided not to run mailing lists anymore that are
not related to the university's core business and so I am looking for
a new home for SHOGI-L.

I prefer not to use services that insert advertisements into postings
and make managing the list cumbersome. Instead, I would like to run
SHOGI-L as a listserv or majordomo-based list at a university or
other such institute. Please be advised I promised Technion that I
would move SHOGI-L off their server by the end of September! If
anybody has any ideas or better yet, any offers, please send me an
e-mail.
