Is there even anything  like PGN for shogi?

Are these the typical Japanese kanji?  I would like to see a chess-like
piece
design with colors (instead of upside down Japanese) to distinguish the 2
sides.
Also, an option to checker the board.  I'd like to see all these options
employed on
the shogi servers, too.  Before I get flamed, the keyword is OPTION.
