Well, I just know many Shogi fans in Japan were upset about it.  We will see
how they will react to it.

Anyway, in case you are interested in what the players eat for their lunch,
you can go to http://www.mainichi.co.jp/life/hobby/meijin03/1/bento.html  It
looks like one of the dishes is Unagi, eel, which is believed to boost your
energy...  Oh, that may be why Hifumi Kato can smash his pieces on the board
because he used to eat Unagi every time he had a match at Shogi Renmei (now
I heard he switched to Sushi).
