Dear Shogi players,
on behalf of Shogi Deutschland I would like to remind and invite you to the 3rd Munich Open Shogi-tournament. The tournament takes place from the 9th to 11th of May 2003. The playing venue is a youth hostel in the nice romantic castle "Schwaneck" (build in 1843; overlooking the lovely river Isar). If you register by e-mail, simply use the form below. Please register for the full board accomodation with me as well. Please register early, to be sure to get the accomodation. Last year this tournament attracted more than 30 players from 15 Kyu to 4 Dan. I hope to see you all there!

How to get there:
by car: south of Munich on the B11
by train: from Munich with the S 7 (tram) to Pullach then 10 Minutes by foot

Format:
6 rounds MacMahon (3 or 4 MacMahon groups), 45 min + 40 sec byoyomi

rooms for 4-8 people 27,- €, per night including breakfast on Saturday/Sunday with a lunch package and a warm dinner on Friday any Saturday
It will be possible to take the meals only, if you choose to stay somewhere else (price depends on the number of people, but is about 6,50 €). It is advised to register early for accomodation because we have only guarenteed 20 beds. It is no problem to book more than that but only if the hostel still has beds available.
