Subject: Kunio Yonenaga Lifetime Kisei

Just wanted to pass on that, according to the "Daily Yomiuri" English
newspaper,  Kunio Yonenaga Lifetime Kisei(59) has announced on his webpage
that he is retiring from active play. Besides being an excellent player(26
years in Class A), his shogi commentaries were always interesting and
informative. He still holds the record for becoming the oldest Meijin at
age 49 when he beat Makoto Nakahara in 1993.
