I was at the preview of Cowboy BeBop in Manhattan on
Labor Day weekend at the BAAF. The next morning after
the screening was my panel on Shogi at the AXNY in
Marriot Hotel. When I started my panel, as soon as I
said that I will be teaching the game that your
favorite characters play in the Cawboy BeBop movie,
everyone was eager to learn.
In the movie they play shougi for quite a few scenes.
the SONY Director was at the preview and we both
thought it was very interesting that shougi was part
of these anime.
