Just look at the help file. But to save games to the database, you have to set your own computer up as a java Server by downloading and installing that software from the Sun website on java. To save games without doing that, you have to go to the text window and encode the game text and then copy and paste it to a text file, making sure the text file has the .psn extension. You can also try Patrick Davins ShogiViewer program at the ShogiNexus site: http://www.shogi.net/nexus/ I hope this is helpful. I also hope that some programmer will come up with a shogi database program with a smoother user interface which would enable quicker game entry as is the case in chess with their many database programs.
