Actually, I only know what I read on the Shogi 24 website. I can't say
whether or not this has happenend to me or not. I don't get lagged
sometimes but who's whether it a connection thing or if it's being done on
purpose.

There used be something written about this on the main page but now it's
been moved to the Q/A section. Basically, since June of last year some
people figured using Windows 9X softwear seamed to have figured out how to
stop the clock by pushing 3 keys at the same time to stop their clock and
send a delay message to their opponent. I'm not sure how Mr. Kumei
discovered the problem. Perhaps someone told him. It seems that now he's
set it up so that the server will automatically unconnect that computer
from the site. So, maybe you can't do it there any more. Shogi 24 is really
good with stuff like that. Mr. Kumei, usually announces and tries to fix
problems as soon as they're discovered. And, he will void a person's ID and
playiing history if he discovers that they're something that they
shouldn't. Yahoo!Japan Shogi is completely different. There not really
interested in Shogi per say so they let almost anything go. You can report
bugs and other problems to them but all you usually get is a form letter in
reply.
