After the simul at the Amabassy of France in Tokyo, Joel Lautier wrote a report in french including those games too. This report can be read at : http://echeymol.free.fr/shogi/reports/fist-joel.html In this chess simul, Sato, Habu and Moriuchi had 45 minutes for all the game (with no byoyomi of course), Lautier had 45 minutes for playing all the games. At this simul, the Japanese champions took a lot of time for thinking in the opening and middle game. The time pressure did not help, this was a great success for shogi and chess ! Today, habu lost. At first glance, he overestimated his chances with the d pawn.
