Last year we had 18 participants with playing strength from absolutely beginner up to 3Dan. The tournament is also part of the FESA 2002-2003 Grand Prix series. Playoff: Im Semifinale spielt der 1. gegen den 4., der 2. gegen den 3. Qualifizierten Spieler in einem Match auf 2 gewonnene Partien. Das Finale spielen dann die Sieger der Semifinale gegeneinader ebenfalls auf 2 gewonnene Partien. Das Datum des Playoffs wird anschließend an die Siegerehrung von den teilnehmenden Spielern ausgewählt. Sonstiges: Das Turnier findet im Rahmen des FESA Grand Prix 2002/2003 statt (nähere Informationen unter http://www.shogi.net/fesa).
