Internet events are not taken seriously. The results are not recognized. I am sure that nobody would cheat. It would be difficult to cheat even if somebody wanted to, since shogi playing computer programs are so much weaker than normal human players. Still, nobody is going to regard the results of an Internet event as valid. I would propose however not a four player round robin but two matches of two players each and then a play off match. That way, you might be able to gain publicity with a match for the European Shogi championship. The winner could then play Larry Kaufman for the World non-Japanese championship. Sam Sloam
