Greetings to all shogi players: I have been an active chess and xiangqi (Chinese chess) player for many years, and recently learned how to play shogi from two sources: Tony Hosking's excellent 'The Art of Shogi', and Trevor Leggett's classic called 'Shogi: Japan's Game of Strategy'. Although it is fun to learn a new game, I have only been playing a bit on my computer shogi program and Shogi Club24 on the Internet. Of course, it is preferable to play with an experienced and/or enthusiastic shogi player in person. Does anybody know of shogi players in the Toronto area? I live in Mississauga, just west of Toronto, and am downtown all the time. Please contact me if you know of shogi players in this neck of the woods. Thanks, Brian
