This had been heavily discussed in the biggest Japanese shogi ML (600 members) a year ago and Mr.Nakamura of SONY Co Ltd. confirmed with Mr.Kaku of Japan Shogi Association. The Renmei announced officially that they may not insist on having its copy right lawfully. However, they doesn't like people to disclose the game kifu before the sponsor (usually news paper company) publishes it. (^^; After that, everybody could enjoy posting Pro's Kifu in the shogi mailing list freely.
