From: Reijer Grimbergen ETL GO JP> Date: 12 feb 2001 Subject: Osho match game 4 It looks like my wish for a long Osho match will not come true, as Habu won game 4 Friday to take a 3-1 lead. Again the game seemed to be played just to please the fans as it was another great fight that lasted 148 moves. Habu managed to get into the anaguma and was happy with his position, but Tanigawa attacked strongly and things were far from clear. I will have to wait for Shukan Shogi to know where Tanigawa went wrong, but Habu managed to get a strong attack himself and looked like he would win until both players got into byoyomi. Then things got very complicated again after a Habu miss, but in the end he could just squeeze out the win. The game can be viewed at: http://www.sponichi.co.jp/leisure/o_syo/2001/kifu/04.html More on it later this week, Reijer
