Subject: News Flash - Shogi World Championship!

Dear Shogi Friends,
42 players from 20 countries already registered their participation to
the Shogi World Championship 2001 to be held in New York on October 19th
- 22nd.
4 Professionals from Japan, Messrs. Toyokawa 5 Dan, Kondo 4 Dan, Iijima
4 Dan and Matuo 4 Dan are coming from Japan to give you free lessons at
the Lesson Corner. You may get lesson as much as you want for all day
during the tournament.
The Champion will be invited to the Amateur Ryuo Tournament in Japan.
Mr. Egoshi, the Champion of the SWC - 2000 was invited last May to Japan
and he won one match at the 1st qualify round.

Please come to New York and join with the Shogi Friends from the world.
