From: Pieter Stouten SHOGI NET> Date: 15 oct 2000 Subject: Second Italian Open Shogi Championship, December 9/10, 2000 I invite you all to participate in the Second Italian Open Shogi Championship (the Italian Grand Prix), part of "Giochi Sforzeschi 2000: The Italian Mind Sports Olympiad." The tournament is open to everybody. As last year showed, even rank beginners will have a very enjoyable time. Norwegian, German, Italian and Japanese players have already confirmed their participation. Dates ----- Shogi Championship: Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December 2000. Giochi Sforzeschi: Thursday 7 through Sunday 10 December 2000. Venue ----- Conference Centre "Palazzo delle Stelline", Corso Magenta, close to the centre of Milan. The Shogi event will take place in Sala G. Palazzo delle Stelline is easily reached by underground: Cadorna on the Red (1) and Green (2) lines; S. Ambrogio on the Red (1) line.
