Hi Stuart,

The 2001 British Open Shogi Championship has a *provisional* date of May
5th/6th according to Phil Holland's web site
(http://www.hollandnumerics.demon.co.uk/SHOGI.HTM).

There's also the Mind Sports Olympiad (http://www.msoworld.com/) which is
usually held in August, and the Royston and Cambridge Shogi Congress (see
Phil's page again) which is usually held in September.  Sorry, but I don't
know exactly when these will be.

That's about it as far as UK tournaments are concerned, we don't run many
tournaments nowadays.
