Dear Doug, Let me explain the reason why we moved the final match of the Championship to an isolated room and set the main hall for Ooban Kaisetsu (Big Board Analysis) by Pros to all participants. 1) This is very common in Japan for a big title match that pros or some other commentators give live analysis of the moves of the players to many audience. For this purpose, the room of the championship match has to be isolated in order to avoid the players to hear the comments of Pros. 2) It is impossible for 70 players to surround a small table of the championship to watch in person. Big Board will be the only way to show the moves to 70 players unless some TV monitor system is arranged in many location of the hall. 3) Big Board Analysis by pros are very meaningful for many players to learn the views and analysis of many Pros. 4) It is understandable however that everyone want to see faces and emotions of the players and TV monitor will be the solution for future. As the matter of fact, we planned to set TV Camera and monitors but the hotel insisted us to use hotel's contractor, whose extremely high cost was prohibitive to do so. We hope everybody enjoyed the big board analysis. Pros were also very happy to have such an opportunity to give their analysis to all participants as they consider it is on of their important jobs.
